I am Thankful

I am thankful for many things that I have today. I think that some people regret the things they have or are not very appreciative of what they have in life. But for me, I am thankful for a lot and in my life and where I was brought up I have a lot of advantages. With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, people start to realize what they are truly thankful for in life. In my life I am thankful for things like family, friends, and the opportunities that I have been given. Without my family, there would be no thanking taking place. My family has been loyal to me and at the same time is close which has shown me how important relationships are. My family has always supported me no matter what and even if they did not like some of the decisions that I have made, they are honest with me so that I know where I stand. Because of the relationship with my family, it’s been easy to tell them anything on my mind, joke around and share all of my opinions without worrying about being judged. My friends are similar to my family in that they are always they for me. But they help me deal with girls, school, sports or maybe any problems I may have with someone else. My best friends are the ones who I talk to everyday and that I can talk to about anything. I am thankful for the times I have with them and the laughs that we have together. My friends show me how to be laid back and just relax. Without my friends, I feel as if I would be a robot and would just go to school, go to sleep, wake up and repeat. I don’t think any of my true friends will ever know how thankful I am for having them. Lastly, I am thankful for the opportunities that I have been given in my life. These opportunities consist of being able to play at Ralph Wilson Stadium back-to-back years, playing in a regional football championship, playing AAU basketball, and being able to travel. I have been given too many opportunities to name and I am thankful for every single one of them. But to summarize it all up, I am thankful for being put in the position I am in and the people who are associated with me.
